“What I Thought I Saw”

Photography can illuminate worlds and give us insight into the lives of strangers we will never meet. And these images, with all of their power in translating work, can sometimes lead us to the wrong conclusion. Artists Peta Owens-Liston and Amy Albo ask their viewers to look past the “misconceptions, biases and stereotypes” of their initial viewing at “What I Thought I Saw,” an art exhibit at the Marriott Honors College.
