HIGHLIGHT: Rest In Peace, Gabe York’s Ankles

Brandon Taylor lays waste to Gabe York’s ankles as Utes beat Arizona for first time since 1998

Utah’s win over Arizona on Saturday gave us one of the dirtiest, nastiest, ankle breaking, hospital inducing juke out three pointers I have ever witnessed in my entire life, courtesy of Utah senior Brandon Taylor. I genuinely feel sorry for Arizona’s Gabe York as he was completely embarrassed by Taylor’s one quick stutter step that left York in shambles, clawing around on all fours in a sad attempt to regain his poise. If you watch closely he almost looks like a lost puppy. The status of York’s ankles is still unknown, as no press releases have shed light on the subject, but we can only imagine the extent of the destruction caused.

In the meantime, all we can do as Utah fans is watch the devastation just one more time. Or maybe 10 more times. All it took was that one move. That one quick second that sent poor York’s ankles to the grave, and as we lay them to rest on this fine Sunday afternoon there remains only one thing left to be said: rest in peace, Gabe York’s ankles.
