WATCH: This Guy Perfectly Describes What It’s Like To Live in Utah

If you’re an out-of-state student, you’ve probably noticed that Utah is … well, different. Whether it’s weird town names like Tooele, “fry sauce” or, of course, Mormon culture, Utah is a very unique state.

YouTube user Erik Shaw captures what Utah is like for an outsider in a hilarious video, aptly titled “What Living In Utah Is Like.”

“Also, the Mormons obviously are squeaky clean people!” he said. “So they don’t swear or anything … So instead of swearing, they say things like ‘flippin’ and ‘stinkin’ and ‘oh my heck!'”

He goes on to comment on Utahns’ propensity for marrying and having kids ridiculously young, family window stickers and the bipolar weather.

You can watch the video down below, as well as check out his channel here.

Great description! We lived in Utah for years. Now we’re in Galveston, TX. I think we have one Mormon church here. People have said where it is, but I’ve never noticed it. Whatever. Got a good laugh from your video!
