National Theatre Live: Hamlet

This Shakespearean classic is back with a twist. Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch is the new face of Hamlet in this tragedy. In “Hamlet,” a family is torn apart in the midst of a war in Denmark. A young son sets out to avenge his father’s cruel death. National Theatre Live will be broadcasting this tremendous production across the nation in cinemas everywhere. Don’t miss the historical show on Tuesday, March 27, beginning at 7 p.m. at Broadway Centre Cinemas. Tickets can be bought online and cost $15-20. There are student, military and senior discounts available.

Bagels with Berg

Join the dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Science Cindy Berg and other students for a morning snack while sharing your experiences as a college student. While enjoying bagels, make suggestions about what should happen to make your experience better at the University of Utah and as a college student in general. The event will take place in the foyer of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Building (BEH S) on Thursday, March 29, from 10-11 a.m.

Canticle Writing Workshop

On March 29, from 2-3 p.m. join the staff of “The Canticle” in a Write-A-Thon workshop at the UMFA. Every semester “The Canticle” partners with the UMFA to host a Write-A-Thon Event. There will be writing prompts available based on the galleries at the museum. Let your inspiration run free with all the surrounding art at the UMFA. This event is free to the public, so be sure to bring your family and friends.
