Yell Practice at Texas A&M

Dear Sirs;The tradition of Yell Practice is a great and wonderful thing. In 1954 I attended my first and the new Aggie Head Football Coach walked out on to the stage at The Grove and through down his coat and started my love for A & M off with a bang. It may be a cult to some people but I am glad you can still remember the Yells. Utah is a fine school and I watched the win their game with Cal last night, good job.Thanks for being as impressed with Yell Practice as I was almost 50 years ago.Bobby R. Smith ’58
