It may be a discounted designer denim dream for shoppers this Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Pi Beta Phi sorority house.
Boonababe Clothing Inc., an online women’s jeans retailer, is teaming up with six sororities to raise money for charities or sororities of the buyer’s choice, according to a recent statement.
Charities benefiting from the sale include Links to Literacy, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Utah, the Blind and Sight Conservation, Primary Children’s Hospital, Utah Girls Town and the battered women’s shelter in Salt Lake City.
Lindi Zimmerman, president of the Kappa Kappa Gamma U Chapter, said, “I think it is great that Boonababe is coming to the U.”
The jeans will be sold at 20 percent to 60 percent off normal retail prices, and will be priced from $39.99 to $99.99.
