It’s Revue Time

It’s that time of year again, as the state of Utah gets the chance to see some of the top rookies of the NBA draft at the Rocky Mountain Revue, which starts this Friday at Salt Lake Community College.

In addition to the hometown Jazz, the Revue features the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Bobcats, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs and the Seattle SuperSonics.

Even though the Bobcats are coming, the No. 2 pick in the draft, Emeka Okafor, will not compete since he is practicing for the Olympic Games.

However, his college teammate Ben Gordon, who was the third pick in the draft, will play for the Bulls along with Luol Deng and second-year man Kirk Hinrich.

Although the Hawks are not a very good team, they may have one of the most intriguing lineups at the Revue.

Josh Childress will headline the Atlanta lineup, along with Donta Smith and high school star Josh Smith.

Portland rookie Sebastian Telfair will be here along with third-year man Qyntel Woods.

Rookies Kirk Snyder and Kris Humphries will play for the Jazz, along with Raul Lopez and Curtis Borchardt.
