Edwards Vaccine Story is Completely Foraked Up

By [email protected]

Editor:

It is hard for me to overstate the shock and disappointment I experienced after reading Eddie Foraker’s letter to the editor, published on October 27th, about John Edwards and the flu vaccine shortage.

The notion that John Edwards is somehow responsible for the shortage is completely false, according to www.snopes.com, a nonpartisan website devoted to debunking urban myths, athttp://www.snopes.com/politics/business/flushot.asp.

Worse, parts of Mr. Foraker’s letter are actually lifted verbatim from the sample letter on the Snopes website!

In the future, you may want to invest the time to verify that this kind of rethuglican trash is actually true, and that it is not plagiarized from somewhere else, before you consider printing it.

Andrew L. Nelson, Math, Junior

(I submitted an earlier version of this letter via email, but neglected to include my major and year in school. Feel free to use that version, if you prefer.)
