Letter to the Editor: Staring hurts

Editor:

I was taught NOT to stare at people (“normal” or handicapped).

Jana Farnsworth (“People stare because they care,” Feb. 11) wrote “…people, in general, learn to stop asking questions.”

Where does she go to school? U of U or Utopia U? Since I became disabled in the hands of a “good” doctor, I have had so many people STARE at me or ask me questions.

I WOULD PREFER (to use Jana’s wording) that they LEAVE me alone.

Robert Lemaistre
