Hatch to speak on stem-cell research

Sen. Orrin Hatch will speak about the politics surrounding stem-cell research today at 2 p.m. in the ASB Auditorium to open the museum and center’s new exhibit, “Stem Cells and You.”

The new exhibit is part of the museum’s current exhibit, “Traits of Life,” which comes from the Exploratorium in San Francisco.

Hatch’s speech is one of several the museum plans to host to discuss various biology topics, ranging from stem cells to the human genome.

For more information, visit the museum’s Web site at www.umnh.utah.edu.
