The article “Party for one is definitely not party for two” has no place in a publicly distributed newspaper. If the romantically disenfranchised find wisdom in Danni’s words, that’s great, but I was disappointed to discover that she chose to address such a risque and offensive (for some) topic. If the Chronicle wishes to continue receiving the support of the audience they report to, it ought to consider the selection of more tasteful material to fill its pages. In addition, I understand that it must be difficult to have a decent number of actual news reporters on your staff when the pay is so dismal. None the less, it seems more appropriate to refer to your paper as an opinion paper rather than a “news” paper, considering the proportion of opinion articles to news articles. I for one would like to see more actual news chronicled in The Daily Utah Chronicle.
