Letter to the Editor: Don’t ever run an April Fool’s edition again

Editor:

Has anyone ever written The Daily Utah Chronicle in praise of your annual April Fool’s issue? You know, how much they laughed and how enjoyable it was to read such witty sarcasm and funny fictitious stories?

I really doubt it.

I do know for a fact, however, that every year your annual April Fool’s issue is so bad that even the most apathetic of students will write in and tell you so. Like me.

I’m graduating this spring and will probably never read The Chrony again, and even after years of reading complaints from students about your terribly unfunny April Fool’s issue, and seeing each complaint ignored, I am still naive enough to ask you one more time:

Please, don’t ever print an April Fool’s issue again.
