Catherine Callister’s April 15th article “Students Sound off on President Young,” was either poorly reported, or misnamed. If, as the caption stated, the “verdict [was] mixed,” Callister should have included the opinions of those who do not approve of the president. We are aware of students who gave negative input about the president when they were interviewed, yet the article gave the impression that all students were satisfied with Young, or merely “hinted” that he could “do more for the U.”
Whether or not the majority of students approve of president Young, it is the Chronicle’s responsibility to voice all students’ opinions, especially in an article entitled “Students Sound Off.”
