Professor Benjamin Bromley will teach Physics 1905: Einstein’s Legacy Fall Semester. Although it is a science class, the course will also examine Einstein’s political and social offerings.
“Einstein’s reach extended well beyond science,” Bromley said.
“He was the prototypical citizen-scientist, promoting his political and social beliefs and using his fame to influence governments.”
Bromley called the German immigrant’s General Theory of Relativity his greatest contribution to science.
Maria Cranor, an instructor who is the recipient of a University Teaching Assistantship from the graduate school, will be helping Bromley with the class.
