MeCha discriminates against whites

Editor:

I am writing in response to a news article in the May 18 edition (“Mucho Kudos-Latino students recognized by scholarship program”).

This is prejudice at it’s finest supported by the racist group M.E.Ch.A.

Where are the scholarships for non-Latinos or Caucasians or Americans? If M.E.Ch.A can award Latinos scholarships so proudly, then so should the KKK be allowed to because they’re both about La Raza (The Race).

Instead, scholarships should be given to Utahns regardless of race, national origin, or language.
