“Saw 3”

Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman

What will Jigsaw-the killer sociopath with the moral superiority complex-do with himself once these “Saw” movies go away? Maybe he can have his own TV court show, like “Judge Judy.” “Judge Jigsaw” has a nice ring to it.

“I find the defendant guilty of heroin possession. Now throw her in the giant pit of dirty syringes.” And then that stupid puppet bangs his gavel. (R)

“Catch a Fire”

Directed by Phillip Noyce

Derek Luke fights apartheid in 1980s South Africa by blowing up a power plant and royally pissing off a goofy-sounding Tim Robbins.

Not to be mistaken for the title of the third Jackass movie: “Catch on Fire.” (PG-13)

“Running with Scissors”

Directed by Ryan Murphy

A young man (Joseph Cross) is adopted by his mom’s wacky shrink (Brian Cox, in full-on weird mode).

Not to be mistaken for the title of the fourth Jackass movie: “Running with Scissors While on Fire.” (R)

MIDNIGHT MADNESS AT THE TOWER! ALL WEEKEND LONG!

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show”

Directed by Jim Sharman

It’s either a ghoulishly campy musical about Transylvanian transvestites, or it’s a home video of Mayor Rocky Anderson getting drunk and shirtless at a karaoke bar and singing Right Said Fred’s “I’m Too Sexy.”

Dressing-up like Dr. Frank-N-Furter and singing along are encouraged at this midnight event, held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Tower Theatre. (PG)
