KUTE deserves its money

Editor: ?KUTE is important to our education. While people may not listen to the station or call to win free movie tickets, the students who are attending our university deserve to have the opportunity to find out if radio is a career they want to pursue. What better way to find out if you have a passion for something than to be able to try it out in college?

Students should have the facilities and the resources to play music, broadcast sporting events and get experience in writing and reporting news stories, even if no one is listening. That is valuable training that you cannot get anywhere else.

What does ASUU want with the $15,000, anyway? I sure hope not another concert that only 2,000 people will show up at. ?
