U is turning into a slum

I have to say that I’m a little concerned about what the U is apparently willing to let our campus become. Every day, I walk by a pile of lumber and other odds and ends that have been heaped in a pile between the Life Sciences and William Stewart buildings. In typical contractor style, it seems to be taking the construction crew longer to clean up its mess than to actually complete the job of roofing the Alfred Emery Building.
This lack of consideration is a problem. It not only hampers parking, but it’s also a blight on our campus that makes one feel as though he is walking through a trailer park rather than a university.
The only thing missing is an old Dodge up on cinder blocks.
