Letter: Rugby deserves respect

Editor:It is very sad that a nationally recognized program (rugby) does not get any respect from the university that it represents. I understand that the school cannot add it as a varsity sport due to Title IX. However, why can’t the team get funding beyond the club money from the Associated Students of the University of Utah? This program is something that will only pay dividends back to the school as the team competes on the NATIONAL STAGE. At least give it a decent field to play on.
