Paint-Faced robberA woman disguised in fanciful makeup held up the Subway sandwich shop a block west of the U. At 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, a college-age woman walked into Subway wearing a black hoodie and black gloves. Her face was painted red, with black on her eyes and lips and a white cross painted on each cheek, according to a police report.She demanded the money in the till and threatened the employee behind the counter with a knife. She was also waving a dollar bill with the words “give me the money” scrawled on it.After she got the store’s money, she left the dollar bill behind and ran out the door to a small four-door car waiting for her in the parking lot. It was last seen speeding northbound on 1300 East.Salt Lake Police have a few suspects. “(It’s) all a matter of catching them,” said Detective Thomas Flores.Obscene textA woman returned to her car to find it keyed with an obscenity. She had parked her Dodge Durango in the south business parking lot at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, and upon returning an hour and a half later, she found the word “dick” keyed into the driver’s side door, according to a police report. Police have no suspects.A more obscene textA student received an obscene text message embedded with live video during his class Tuesday evening. The video showed a naked female engaging in sexual activity. Police have a source pinned with the message, but would not disclose who sent it, said Capt. Lynn Mitchell.The student received a similar video message a few months ago, but didn’t report it to campus police until Tuesday.Compiled by Michael McFall
