OUR_Ep.59_Johnny Mckeon

In a step toward jump-starting a new statewide effort to encourage technology research, the U opened its recently purchased BRAIN Institute Building to temporarily house new researchers. Faculty celebrated the opening of the new building in Research Park last night, which will function as a temporary facility for faculty hired under the Utah Science Technology and Research Initiative.

On Episode 59 of Ol’ Ute Radio, Rebecca and Sascha are joined in studio by the dearly missed ex-host of OUR, Johnny McKeon. Johnny shares a bit about what he’s been up to of late. The three then discuss twitter etiquette and the art of gaining followers. During the middle of the show and the end of Johnny’s appearance, opinions are given on the topic of writing and the sale of creative energy.

As usual, we welcome the fearless Dakotah- or “Rubber Dak”- on during the last segment of the episode to hear about all things concerning hacktivism, Anonymous and Barrett Brown.
Enjoy the episode, share it with your friends and be sure to tune in again next Tuesday evening! We love our fans and appreciate U.
