Spring Break 2015 Hotspots

Spring+Break+2015+Hotspots

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Have your started planning your spring break yet? It’s only two weeks away! We have come up with a list of some of the best ideas for your week of travel, so take the weekend and plan your escape.

1. The Classic

Lake Havasu, Panama Beach, and Cancun all have spring break reputations that precede themselves. Beach, bars, pools, parties, concerts, and hundreds of fellow college students… what more could you want?

2. The Nightlife

Let’s face it, the Las Vegas 21+ scene is a blast. With night clubs that don’t close until 4 AM, and pool clubs that open 7 hours later, there’s a reason Vegas proclaims itself the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’. Even if you aren’t 21 yet, at least it will be warm enough to go to the pool!

3. The Beach

The snow this week has us dreaming about warm, sandy beaches. San Diego, California is the hotspot destination this time of year, with Mission Beach houses for rent just steps from the ocean.

4. The Adventure

Southern Utah is known for its outdoor activities, and the drive isn’t entirely too long either. Not to mention it will be warmer than it is here. Grab some friends and get your adrenaline pumping. Hike at the national parks or go canyoneering in the slot canyons.

5. The Give Back

The University’s Alternative Spring Break applications have already been processed, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t volunteer elsewhere! Lend a hand at your local pet shelter, feed the homeless, help out with community cleanup. And keep an eye out for Alternative Fall Break, and ASB 2016. This year they are traveling as far as Canada, and have great programs to educate and engage students.

Y’all better get planning! T-minus two weeks![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
