Salt Lake’s Hidden Gem Eateries

Salt+Lakes+Hidden+Gem+Eateries

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]I don’t know about you, but my life revolves around food… Personally I think pizza should be it’s own food group. But I’m always looking to try something new, and every city is bound to have a handful of hole-in-the-wall eateries that change your life. Following are a few of our Salt Lake City favorites. Feel free to share yours with us on our Facebook or Twitter pages!

Even Stevens

Known for its sandwiches, Even Stevens has arguably the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Try ‘The Graduate’ (and no, I don’t mean the movie).

Vertical Diner

One of the most uniques places to eat in Utah is Vertical Diner, with a vegan menu and 100% plant based ingredients. Even if you aren’t a vegan, their food is amazing!

Moochie’s

With its award winning Philly Cheesesteaks, Mooochie’s is “more than just a sandwich” shop. I, myself, can’t get enough of the Pizza Steak (who would have thought, when I think pizza should be its own food group?).

Eva

Tucked right in between a couple of Main Street bars is Eva, a quaint restaurant with a wide variety of unique, tapas-style small plates. In terms of class, Eva is a step fancier than the rest of these restaurants, but has a casual dining environment. When it gets warmer, make sure to snag a seat on their patio.

Ruth’s Diner

As soon as you sit down in the traincar-esque diner, they hand you a famous ‘Mile High’ biscuit the size of your head. And if that isn’t enough to sway you, the rest of their menu might. Head up Emigration and visit our state’s second oldest restaurant.

Well, now I’m hungry. If you need me, I’ll be at Moochie’s.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
