Early on in the Utes' game against the Louisville Cardinals, U Police escorted a couple out of Rice-Eccles Stadium after officers found them vomiting in the stands. About half an hour later, officers escorted a minor out of the stadium after they caught him with a flask full of alcohol and a beer.

Muslim students collect food for needy

The MSAUU is participating in the Muslims United Against Hunger food drive for Utah's needy, which started last month during the holy month of Ramadan. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, so they are able to focus more time on prayer and purifying their lives through self-restraint and good deeds.

New noise ordinance would affect greeks

The council discussed at its last meeting a proposed ordinance, which amends an existing statute, that would impose fines on the hosts of parties to which the police have to respond. The fines are up to $300 per visit and criminal prosecution could follow if the behavior continues.
