Paul Hakizimana, News Writer
Paul Hakizimana is a senior at the University of Utah with an associate degree in business from Salt Lake Community College. He is studying communications with an emphasis in journalism. Paul started getting involved in journalism work back in Rwanda in 2008. After high school, he was involved in business investment and the tourism industry to contribute to the development of the tourism space in Africa. He founded Africa Wildlife Tour and Safaris with a head office in Kigali that operates in the East African region. He always knew he wanted to write and doing it for the Chronicle is tapping into his childhood dream. In his relaxation time, you can catch him taking breathtaking photos, playing soccer, reading books, and spending time with friends and family.
