The Pulse

By Kyle Stegerwald, Asst. Red Pulse Editor

I’m writing this as the paper goes to print Tuesday evening, and the atmosphere in the office is festive despite the fact that our workload this week is even heavier than it usually is. Virginia and Ohio have just been called for President elect Obama. Blue is inching its way toward the West Coast as voting precincts across the country close down and hand in their votes. Is it the end of our “long national nightmare?” I hope so. Obama, looking curiously like a hero in a biblical epic, is addressing a roaring crowd in Chicago. The country is having a party. So should you, and don’t let the cold or the red-state grumbling convince you otherwise.
