The second annual “Fashion in Business Fashion Show,” presented by the Fashion in Business club and the Union Programming Council at the University of Utah, was held in the A. Ray Olpin Student Union ballroom on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024. An event like this, entirely powered by student initiative and creativity, is one of the most exciting and energetic experiences one can have on a college campus. It’s also an opportunity for countless people to elaborate on that initial creative impulse and create art through photography, sketching, graphic design and music. There was no expectation; everyone involved carried an air of confidence and nervous excitement that was palpable in the air.

My goal during this show was to capture the mechanics behind the runway along with the complete final vision of the clothes on the models. Without the intensity and courage that built up beforehand, the breathtaking images captured after would have never materialized, and each of those phases is equally as exciting and worth documenting.
