Murder Suspect Caught on I-70

SALT LAKE CITY?A man suspected of trying to kill an Ohio police officer was caught in southern Utah early Tuesday morning.

Dane Langstaff, age and hometown unknown, was spotted on Interstate 70 Monday night.

Utah Highway Patrol officers chased him, but Langstaff crashed the truck, which was apparently stolen.

Langstaff ran away and eluded officers for a time, but early Tuesday, state troopers in a helicopter spotted him.

He was arrested and taken to the Sevier County jail. Langstaff is facing charges in Utah, as well as the attempted murder of a police officer charge in Ohio. Details of that case were not available.
