Utes-at-a-glance

Waterlogged

The U softball team’s road game at Utah State was cancelled Wednesday because of inclement weather in Logan. It is the fourth time this year the Utes have had contests cancelled because of weather. Utah will return to action this weekend when it plays double headers against UNLV and San Diego State on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Downtown Julie Larsen

Senior Ute guard Julie Larsen will represent the Utes one more time, as she takes part in the women’s three-point shooting championships Thursday on ESPN at 7 p.m. Also included in the festivities will be a men’s three-point contest and a dunk contest. Larsen finished the season with a scorching .504 three-point percentage, tops in the MWC and most likely to be tops in the nation when the NCAA Tournament concludes.
