By By Tony Pizza | April 20, 2007

For two weeks, the U gymnastics team has been waiting to add to the momentum it generated against Provo during the final meet of the regular season. Just one more day stands between the Red Rocks and the chance to do just that. This weekend the Utes are in Berkeley, Calif.

Greg Marsden has made a habit of stockpiling some of the best gymnastic talent available. On Wednesday, Marsden and the U gymnastics team received yet another boost. Yesterday, 2004 Canadian Olympian Gael Mackie signed a National Letter of Intent with the U gymnastics team.

The great debate part 1: Who’s the NBA’s MVP this year?

By By Tony Pizza | April 12, 2007
In a spelling bee, his name might stump most eighth graders, but if someone wants to know how to spell Dirk Nowitzki's name, he or she will have to look no further than the name inscribed on the 2007 MVP trophy. Now, if the MVP award were suddenly transformed into the MGP (Most Gifted Player) award, Kobe Bryant would be a shoo-in finalist every year.
