From the moment you step through the door, the cafe feels much different from most local shops in the area. The owners, Becky and Scott, created this shop over five years ago. They now serve over 85 different loose-leaf teas from around the world, alongside a curated list of wines and espresso drinks. Becky and Scott have built the cafe around a philosophy of “communi-TEA,” a term they use to describe the connections they create with customers, artists, neighbors and other small businesses.
That focus on community shows up in all sorts of ways: rotating art exhibits by local artists line the walls, the Sugar House Art Walk, and each month the shop hosts a “Meet the Artist” event on the third Thursday.
