A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that the Equal Protection Project of the Legal Insurrection Foundation filed the complaint that launched the OCR investigation. It also misattributed quotes to the president of the foundation, William Jacobson, and incorrectly stated that the University of Utah made a statement to Axios about the investigation.
