In a Dec. 5 article titled, “Database Helps With Cancer, Aging Research,” The Chronicle misquoted Jean Wylie. Her final quote should have read, “When researchers ask Utahns to participate in a study, they don’t have to explain why families are important.” The Chronicle regrets the error.
In a Dec. 6 editorial titled, “Don’t Wait to Find Olympic Shelter,” the moving date for students in the residence halls was not clearly stated. Students will receive moving boxes on Dec. 7 and will officially move to the old dorms on Dec. 15.
In a Dec. 5 headline, The Chronicle mischaracterized the nature of the Utah Microtechnology Consortium. UMTC is a collaboration among the U, industry and Utah Technology Alliance, which is run from the Governor’s office.
