The Olympic Village will temporarily open its doors to U students, staff and faculty for one last time before the Games arrive.
Thursday afternoon, the Salt Lake Organizing Committee will lead tours past the chain-link walls that isolate the village. Free tickets are available at the Union’s front desk.
From 2 to 5:30 p.m., buses will carry ticket holders from the Union to the village. Tours will visit the shops, businesses and the residential area for the athletes.
U cards are required for the tours. No backpacks or cameras will be allowed. Each tour will last 30 to 45 minutes.
