SALT LAKE CITY?A Christian group from the state of Georgia that has been told by Salt Lake Olympic organizers to take its message and Jesus pins away from Paralympic venues is saying they are being discriminated against.
Representatives of Action Ministries International were told by an E Center security guard that they could not wear religious insignia or speak to people inside the venue.
The Salt Lake Organizing Committee denied it was discriminating against the Georgia-based group, but spokeswoman Nancy Volmer confirmed that complaints were received about the group handing out pins and proselytizing.
