A player at a pickup basketball game at the HPER punched another player after the referee made a call with which he disagreed. The case is currently under investigation.
Spit and run
A U shuttle bus driver called police after a bicyclist spit on him and threw rocks into his window while the driver was driving. The cyclist told police the driver had driven too close to him.
There’s no place like home
A life-size replica of the Tin Man and the Scarecrow from “The Wizard of Oz” at Red Butte Garden were damaged. They were on display in the children’s section of the garden.
Doctor Evil
A patient at the U hospital called police to report that the doctor who was treating him went through his personal belongings and stole his Bible.
Campus urination squared
A U employee was caught urinating on a tree on campus. Police warned him against this behavior and released him.
A second man was suspected of urinating on the floor of the Marriott Library.
Police released the man to a detox center after they realized he was intoxicated. This is the second time since Summer Semester that someone has allegedly urinated on the floor in Marriott Library.
“It’s not funny!”
A man exposed himself to a U employee on the stairwell of the Engineering and Mines Classroom Building, but police were unable to locate him.
