Any graduate student with a department office or box within a department will be able to have books and documents delivered directly to them from the library.
“We are just cutting down the leg work,” said Ian Godfrey, facilities and access services manager for the library. “It will hopefully speed things up at the reserved desk for the undergrads.”
Graduate students will be able to go to the online catalog found on the library’s main page, www.lib.utah.edu, and request books and documents they need to be delivered to them. Library staff members go on a delivery run by golf cart every day at 3 p.m.
Any student can go to the online catalog and reserve a book or document. The material will then be taken to the reserve desk on the library’s first floor for pick-up.
