I am writing this letter because I am concerned that our local and state public officials are not taking action to ban schools from being located on or near contaminated areas. Please step up and protect our communities and children from being exposed needlessly to toxic sites. Pass strong and comprehensive school siting laws today.

I care about this issue because I care about the future of our community. Our children must be protected against environmental health harms.

As a concerned member of this community, I believe our state should have strong, comprehensive laws that prevent environmental health issues from harming our children in the first place.
