Classes are close to the end, the weather is starting to warm up, and summer is right around the corner! Everyone has started planning what they want to do this summer, trying to ignore the fact that we still have a few of the hardest weeks left of the semester. School is awesome, but I think everyone is getting anxious for summer to just be here already. Here are a few signs that prove you’re ready for summer:
– The snow is getting really, really old. The sun is teasing us, giving us complete summer feeling days, and then BAM, we get a cold spell and hear threats of snow. Come on summer, stop jerking us around! Utah, get it together, stop being so darn cold and make up your mind.
– The temperature is rising, and the sun is starting to come out, but it’s still around 50 degrees outside… however you’re starting to see people wearing shorts and flip flops. You yourself might be the one partaking in this form of dress, or you’re observing it, but either way you know that person is READY for summer.
– What’s that I hear? Opening day already? HECK YEAH! You’re totally looking forward to going to the games with your friends. Maybe you’ll even join a softball league and get in on the action first hand.
– You are walking or driving down the street and you see girls laying out in their bikinis. UHM excuse me? It’s still 50 to 60 degrees outside, aren’t you freezing?
– It’s Music Festival Season!! You start hearing talk of Coachella, Sasquatch, and Bonnaroo. You’re planning the perfect outfit for each concert and the anticipation of summer and loud music is building!
Whether you’ve had one or all of these moments, you know summer is coming and you are going to have a blast. Start getting your warm weather clothes out, and head to market to get your favorite cold beverage, because this is going to be one to remember. Cheers![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
