[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Let’s face it; everyone thinks their college is the best around. So don’t tell them, but we all know that it’s the University of Utah that really takes the cake. And here, school spirit isn’t just attending an occasional Utah athletics event; it’s a way of life.

–The Holy War: The U versus Y school rivalry is not one to be taken lightly. And nothing hypes up a Ute like proving our superiority over the Cougars. We didn’t rush the field three times last year for nothing!
–Tailgates: Football season is one of the only times of the year that it’s socially acceptable to start the pregame at 9:00 AM. Who doesn’t want to set up camp in the middle of the parking lot and see how many generations of Ute fans come out of the woodwork?
–Red wardrobe: You know, bleed red and all that. If you don’t have at least one red shirt buried somewhere in your closet, I’m not entirely sure I can accept that. You at least have to have the Utah lanyard for your keys!
–Weather resistance: No matter the weather, rain, sleet, or beating sunshine, you know that the Rice Eccles Stadium will be packed on game day. And if you’re a true Utahn, you know that all of the above could happen in the same day.
–A Utah MAN am I: Last year, when the Utah Fight Song changed ‘man’ to ‘fan’ on the grounds of gender equality, most of the University had too much pride in our traditions to accept defeat.
If you don’t have a feather and drum sticker on the back of your car, did you really ever go here?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
