Wal-Mart Settles Over Suicide Suit

WILMINGTON, N.C.?Wal-Mart has agreed to pay $130,000 to the estate of a man who shot and killed himself after buying ammunition at the store. A lawsuit filed in a district court earlier this year accused the Ark.-based chain of negligence for selling bullets to Matthew John VanGraafeiland and for failing to supervise its employees.
