To the conservative, sketching nude models in University of Utah's Figure Structure class can be considered pornography. The more liberal might envision passionate students sketching the intricacies of the human body. Both may be surprised to see a student's sketchbook?the model's body drawn with perspective cubes and the complete muscle structure, barely resembling the body's outer appearance.

Letter to the Editor: What Comes Around Goes Around

Editor: I applaud the efforts of Conservation And Recycling Evolution, Terra Firma and the Bennion Center to evaluate and improve recycling on the University of Utah campus. It is an effort long overdue. The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library has partnered with the Marriott and Quinney Law libraries to address recycling issues specific to library materials.

Huntsman Cancer Honors Greeks for Giving

Because greek houses get so much negative attention, recognizing their accomplishments is important, said Ray Olson, director of development for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. On Monday, the cancer institute recognized the greek society for their $2,500 donation, which will go to the cancer institute's care and research programs.

"Anticipating the holiday season can be challenging and stressful," said Lauren Weitzman, a psychologist working at the U's Counseling Center. According to Weitzman, everyone has their own brand of the holidays.

While Disabilities Awareness Week will end in a few short days, the Best Buddies Club carries on the message of understanding and respect all year long. According to Deric B. van Bree, the president of the U's chapter, the program's purpose is to pair college students with intellectually disabled people.
