Saturday's game against No. 4 TCU turned out to be what some on the team are calling "a wake-up call" after the Utes fell to the Horned Frogs 55-28. TCU's 55 points were the most points scored by a Utah opponent since 1990, when the San Diego State Aztecs dropped 66 on the Utes.

James Austin Cooper, a freshman in exercise and sport science, has spent most of his life moving from place to place because of his father's 23-year career in the U.S. Air Force, a career that ended two years ago with his father's retirement from active duty. Cooper said he enjoyed his experiences growing up, as he had a chance to live all around the world when his father was transferred.

On Senior Day, two seniors led the volleyball team to a sweep (25-17, 25-18, 25-20) over Wyoming in Utah's last home match of the season Saturday.

The Runnin' Utes were able to hang with the Idaho Vandals for most of the night, but in the end, Idaho's experience was the difference, as Utah lost its season opener Friday 94-87.
