I've been asked a million times why Utah fans hate BYU so much, now I'll have an answer. I could go on all day about BYU, fans and the rivalry, but it's all just fuel for another year and another rivalry game.

Phillips finds ‘bittersweet’ field goal success

Although the Utes put points on the board off each of their five red-zone opportunities, they had to settle for a field goal from kicker Joe Phillips all but once to do so. Phillips put another field goal through the posts outside the red zone, ending the night 5-5.

Despite Early Lead, Utes trail at half

After jumping out to an early 6-0 lead thanks to back-to-back field goals from Utah's Joe Phillips, the Cougars responded with a 17 play 52 yard drive that ended in a 27 yard field goal. Freshman quarterback Jordan Wynn went 6-6 for 87 yards in the first quarter before throwing his first incomplete pass of the game in the second quarter.

Cougars snag rivalry win in overtime

The 91st installment of the Holy War lived up to expectations Saturday night, when for the second time in five years, 60 minutes of play could not determine a winner. Utah rallied to tie the game 20-20 to force overtime, but a 25-yard pass from BYU quarterback Max Hall to tight end Andrew George eventually sealed the win for the Cougars.
