Golf team set to tee off in two weeks

The Utes will tee off their season during the first month of the Fall Semester, on Sept. 6. They will be traveling to Colorado Springs, Colo., for the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational. The highlight of the schedule will be the University of Hawaii Kauai Invitational in November.

Volleyball team healthy and eager for fresh start

The women's volleyball team has made it through summer training and the first three weeks of practice without so much as a glitch. The team is injury-free and ready for the upcoming season, which is something it couldn't say a year ago.

Ute fest gives fans chance to meet athletes

Rice-Eccles Stadium was bleeding red Saturday as the U sports teams had their annual Ute Fan Fest to kick off the school year. The festival had a large turnout and featured autograph signings by coaches and athletes, games with prizes and, of course, some savory snack foods.
