The Ute volleyball team continued its run of success against conference foes, beating San Diego State 3-0 Saturday afternoon.

The Ute Volleyball team used big performances from their two seniors to get back into the win column by defeating Air Force 3-1 on Thursday night to open conference play.

The Utah team enters conference play on a three-game losing streak and has lost five of its past seven games, including a loss to No. 12 Oregon that snapped a 13-match, yearlong home winning streak.

The loss snapped a 13-game home winning streak dating back to Sept. 13, 2008, when the Utes lost to then-No. 15 Purdue in five sets. The loss also drops the Utes to 6-5 on the year heading into conference play.
