Jacob Freeman, News Writer
Jacob Freeman is a full time student at the University of Utah pursuing a degree in communication with an emphasis in journalism. After starting his academic career in the chemistry department, he realized journalism was the best way for him to explore his passion for the outdoors in a productive way. He plans to use his platform as a journalist to bring awareness to issues important to him, such as environmental and social justice. His hobbies have been shaped by the communities he has grown up in, and by extension have influenced what he's passionate about. These hobbies include rock climbing, skiing and skateboarding. Jacob also enjoys cooking and playing the violin.
