Julia was born in Taipei and grew up in Suzhou. She spent the first two years of university at the Asia Campus of the U located in Incheon, Korea. Currently, she is a junior majoring in psychology. She joined the Daily Utah Chronicle as a photographer to continue her interest in photography.
