Ute fan behavior

By [email protected]

As a former University of Utah student, I was disgusted with the way current students and fans were representing the U outside the Marriott Center after BYU’s victory over the Utes. Upon exiting the arena, I was disappointed to see a large group of Utah students apparently trying to get back at BYU by yelling “I f—ed your mom,” over and over at the top of their lungs.Sure, a game against the school’s biggest rival can handle a little trash talk between opposing sides, but this was WAY over the line. Through my past experiences at games, and as a student at the U, I know that most Ute fans are decent and great people. To those other fans who tarnish the U’s reputation by being poor sports while visiting other schools, I say, Grow Up!
