Theta Nu Xi- Much More than Multiculturalism

By [email protected]

Recently, the Iota Chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. was recognized by The Chrony for having been awarded the Undergraduate Chapter of the Year Award at our National Convention (Thursday, Oct 22 “Theta Nu Xi Recognized Nationally). The time and effort put into this article, as well as the recognition, are much appreciated. However, I believe that additional information about us is needed.

Although Multiculturalism is one of the key components of our membership, it is not the only area in which all chapters of our National Organization excel. We also pride ourselves on Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Leadership. These, along with Multiculturalism, are tenets we strive to uphold not only on an individual level, but also on a chapter, and a national level. Our chapter was recognized for the outstanding exemplification of attributes every member and chapter of Theta Nu Xi live and promote daily within their respective campus communities.

The Iota Chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. has been bridging gaps, cultural and otherwise, on our campus since 2001. We hope to continue our growth, and involvement in such an amazing and diverse student body.
